Fire Inspector

The Ketchum Fire District is now accepting applications for Fire Inspector. The hiring process is open until filled with a desired start date prior to July 1st, 2025. Applications are being accepted immediately with a first round review anticipated on Monday June 2nd, 2025.  

This position will be assigned to a 40 hour work week (5/8’s or 4/10’s). The Fire Inspector will spend majority of time on fire prevention projects including inspecting business, multi-family and short-term rental properties. Incumbent may work on other related projects and will be the lead on the Department’s public education program. Incumbent may also be available to respond to emergency incidents. Persons in this position may be eligible for application to lateral hire as shift firefighter/EMT or firefighter/paramedic.
