Park Reservation Application

ALL PARK RESERVATION APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED 7 DAYS PRIOR TO PARK RESERVATION DATE.
The Park Reservation Application and associated payment must be submitted 7 days prior to the date of reservation.

Checks are payable to the City of Ketchum and may be mailed to P.O. Box 2315, Ketchum, ID 83340 or brought to City Hall at 191 5th St. West, Ketchum, ID 83340. Please note that park reservations are non-refundable.

Terms & Conditions
  1. Leave it better than you found it!
    • All Park infrastructure, including picnic tables and trash cans, must be returned to the positions in which they were found.
    • All trash and recycling receptacles must be emptied at the end of your park reservation. 
  2. This Park Reservation Application gives you and your group exclusive use of the specified area(s) for your designated times ONLY. However, it does not exclude other park users from  public areas (i.e. open space, restrooms).
    • Reservations are made strictly on a first come, first-served basis.
    • Your reserved time includes set-up & clean-up.
  3. All parks close at 10 p.m.
    • Event materials (chairs, tables, etc.) must be removed/cannot be stored overnight.
    • Camping is not allowed.
  4. Public restrooms or porta-potties are available at Ketchum Town Square, Forest Service Park and Rotary Park.
     
  5. Dogs are not allowed at Atkinson Park. Please pick up after your pets at other parks.
     
  6. Vehicles are prohibited from driving/parking on non-designated spots (stay off the grass, please).
     
  7. The staking of tents (of any kind or size) is prohibited.
     
  8. Additional fees will be applied, as needed, for staff labor at $45/hour.

  10. Noise generated by park use must meet the conditions outlined in the Ketchum Municipal Code, Title 9, Chapter 08.040, Loud or Unnecessary Noises.
     
  11. The city of Ketchum is licensed with performing rights organizations; ASCAP, BMI and SESAC. Anyone playing live or pre-recorded music on Ketchum's public property is required to pay the applicable license fee in order to be covered under Ketchum's license. The fee may be waived for applicants showing proof of license with the appropriate organization or by certifying that any and all music played or performed is original and free of licensing requirements.
     
  12. Atkinson Park's Terry Tracy Recreation Center:
    • Is not available from 2 to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
    • For weekend and evening reservations at the Terry Tracy Recreation Center, arrangements for a building key must be made between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Recreation Department administration office.
    • Cleaning supplies will be provided.
  13. The sale and distribution of single-use plastic water bottles, plastic straws, plastic bags or to-go food containers made of plastic or Styrofoam is prohibited on all city property. We   strongly encourage the use of biodegradable serving plates, beverage containers,  utensils, straws, bags and food containers. 
     
  14. The City of Ketchum reserves the right to revoke any permit and/or cancel any event or park reservation as deemed necessary in order to protect the public health and safety. In the event of a cancellation the City will reasonably work with the event or park reservation holder to accommodate rescheduling.
Indemnification Agreement

Reservation agent agrees to indemnify and save and hold harmless the city of Ketchum, city officials, agents and employees from and for any and all losses, claims, actions, judgments for damages, or injury to persons or property and losses and expenses caused or incurred by reservation agent, its servants, agents, employees, guests and business invitees and not caused by or arising out of the tortuous conduct of city or its officials, agents or employees. Reservation agent shall communicate the terms of this indemnity and waiver to all reservation agent's employees, volunteers and clients.
