Councilor
Tripp Hutchinson is a born and raised Ketchum, Idaho local. Growing up, he received formal education from Hemingway Elementary, Community School, Wood River Middle, Desert Ridge Middle, Millennium High, Philips Academy Andover, Cheshire Academy and the University of Colorado Boulder. He also gained invaluable informal education from team sports, specifically hockey, for which he traveled around North America and lived as a “billet” with many different American families from different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. These experiences constructed Tripp’s core political worldview of anti-authoritarianism, independent business, elected leadership and a strong working class being the bedrock of strong communities.
Council President
I will maintain long standing preservation of Ketchum's unique brand during times of critical change. I believe Ketchum is the best place to live and it must remain true to its values and traditions by incorporating its past into the future. I remain dedicated to representing locals by making informed decisions while realizing change is inevitable. I will get my energy and passion by continuing to enjoy the great outdoors and participating in local events.
