Procedures for Construction in Ketchum - This also applies to landscaping, electrical, mechanical and plumbing performed in Ketchum.

Commercial and residential construction and other services such as electrical, plumbing, mechanical and landscaping must meet the requirements in Ketchum Health Order 20-06, which became effective at 12:00 a.m. on November 24, 2020. All individuals performing work must certify they have read the Construction Site and Worker Standards and agree to comply at all times while on the job site.  

The primary contractor or individual performing services must follow the steps below:

  1. Review the Ketchum Health Order 20-06 and the Construction Site and Worker Standards 
  2. Distribute the Employee Certification Form to all individuals working on the job site or performing services, and obtain signatures that all individuals have reviewed and agreed to the standards.
  3. Contractor submits the Contractor Affidavit Form to the city via webform, e-mail or drop off at City Hall.
  4. Work may continue once contractor receives notice from the city
  5. Contractor or business owner must submit all COVID-19 Employee Certifications forms to the city via e-mail or drop off at City Hall within 48 hours of filing the Contractor Affidavit. Failure to submit the forms may result in the job being stopped.

Additional Information:

  • If an employee has been exposed to COVID-19, or presents any illness including any symptoms related to COVID-19, contractor or owner of the company must submit COVID-19 Illness Notification to the city within 48 hours of the employee being sent home.
  • Follow steps above if additional workers are assigned to jobsite subsequent to submission of initial documents.
  • Place posters at job site. (You can pick up posters provided by the city outside of City Hall.)
