The City of Ketchum is requesting bids for the construction of the following Project: Main Street Water Relocation

The City of Ketchum, Idaho will accept proposals at City Hall, 191 5th Street West, Ketchum, Idaho, 83340, or electronically at TDonat@ketchumidaho.org until February 28th, 2024, 4:00 p.m. MST.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:  The proposed project consists of the relocation of existing water and irrigation main infrastructure between 2nd Street and 4th Street as well as fire hydrant replacement between 1st Street and 9th Street along Main Street in conjunction with the re-construction of Main Street within the City of Ketchum. Work includes:

  • Demolition: includes sawcut and asphalt removal necessary for the installation of Water Infrastructure and fire hydrant replacement.
  • Water Infrastructure: includes but is not limited to water main line, associated appurtenances/fittings, and existing water service extensions. All trenching shall be backfilled for temporary vehicular access per Water Construction Drawings.
  • Fire Hydrant Replacement: includes but is not limited to replacement of fire hydrant fixtures and/or assemblies along Main Street between 1st Street and 9th Street.
  • Traffic Control: includes preparation and implementation of traffic control plan and road closure schedule consistent with MUTCD standards.

The City will respond to any questions of a substantive nature via an addendum to this RFP. All addenda will be posted to the City’s website and distributed to known holders of the RFP.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formalities or informalities and further, to award the services to the most responsive and responsible Proposer, according to the City’s evaluation and as deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City may opt to conduct interviews at its own discretion following the proposal deadline.
