New Ketchum Board And Commission Members Confirmed

Recent confirmations for Ketchum boards and commission vacancies include four new KURA commisisoners and a new member for both BCHA and Ketchum Traffic Authority, among others.

Mayor Pete Prekege’s final recommendations to fill openings for Ketchum Urban Renewal Agency (KURA), Blaine County Housing Authority (BCHA), Fly Sun Valley Alliance, Ketchum Community Development Corporation (KCDC), Mountain Rides, Sun Valley Air Service Board, Sun Valley Economic Development (SVED), and Ketchum Traffic Authority came before City Council for confirmation on January 29. The recommendations came after a preliminary City Council review and discussion on potential appointments for open positions during the January 8 City Council meeting. The recommendations were unanimously approved and include the following appointments.

Ketchum Urban Renewal Agency (ketchumura.org)

• Randy Hall (City Council liaison; 4-year term; voting member)
• Tripp Hutchinson (City Council liaison; 2-year term [assuming a vacated seat]; voting member)
• Tracie Smith (Commissioners; 2-year term [assuming a vacated seat]; voting member)
• Dillon Witmer (Commissioner; 4-year term; voting member)

• Keith Perry (Ketchum board representative; 5-year term; voting member)
• Tripp Hutchinson (Ketchum liaison; discretionary term; non-voting member)
