Coffee Talk June

Following strong community participation and interest in the relaunch of Coffee Talks this spring, the City of Ketchum, in partnership with The Chamber, is continuing the community conversation series with an additional session scheduled for June 2.

The Coffee Talks series is designed to give residents, business owners, and community members an informal opportunity to connect directly with city staff and leadership, ask questions and receive updates on current and upcoming city projects and initiatives.

The next Coffee Talk will take place June 2 from 9–10 a.m. at FRX (650 N Main St Unit D). The session will include updates and discussion on Local Option Tax (LOT) and the new Ketchum Police launching this summer. Attendees are invited to participate in open conversation about local priorities, projects, and community topics of interest.

The May 5 Coffee Talk, hosted by Sun Valley Museum of Art, marked the return of the series and included updates on upcoming museum programming, local projects and community initiatives. City officials said the positive response reinforced the importance of creating consistent opportunities for informal community dialogue.

“Coffee Talks give us a chance to have real conversations with residents about the issues shaping Ketchum today,” said Ketchum Mayor Pete Prekeges. “In June, we’ll be sharing updates on Local Option Taxes, the transition to Ketchum Police and other important community topics while creating space for people to ask questions and provide feedback directly to City leadership.”

Additional Coffee Talks will continue throughout the year at locations around Ketchum.
