Ketchum Sets 2026 Wagon Days Dates; Opens Search for Official Poster Artist

Events this year will take place September 4-6, with the parade occurring on Saturday, September 5.

The City of Ketchum is proud to announce that the 2026 Wagon Days celebration will take place from September 4 through September 6, 2026. This cherished Labor Day weekend tradition commemorates Ketchum's history and mining heritage with a weekend of family-friendly events, culminating in the famous Big Hitch Parade on Saturday, September 5. The city is also looking for interested artists to provide artwork for the official Wagon Days poster. Local and regional artists who wish to be considered and are willing to create an original design, illustration, or painting that captures the "Wagon Days spirit" are encouraged to reach out to the city at participate@ketchumidaho.org. The selected artist’s work will be featured on event promotions and the annual commemorative poster sold to the public.
