Ketchum Invites Community to Celebrate National Night Out and Welcome the New Ketchum Police Department

The City of Ketchum invites residents and visitors to join the community for a special National Night Out celebration before Ketch'em Alive on Tuesday, August 4, marking the public introduction of the new Ketchum Police Department, which officially begins service on Monday, August 3. 

National Night Out is an annual event that brings neighbors and law enforcement together to build relationships, strengthen community partnerships, and promote public safety. This year's celebration provides an opportunity for the community to meet the officers who will serve Ketchum and learn more about the department's commitment to community policing. 

Community members are invited to: 

  • Meet Ketchum Police officers 
  • Get a first look at the department's newly branded patrol vehicles and officer uniforms 
  • Enjoy free popsicles while supplies last 
  • Enjoy live music and the Ketch'em Alive concert

WHY:  

National Night Out is an annual event that strengthens relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. This year's celebration also marks the public debut of the newly established Ketchum Police Department, providing residents with an opportunity to meet their officers and learn more about the department's commitment to community policing.
