City to Host FY 2027 Budget Workshop

The City of Ketchum will host a Budget Workshop to provide an overview of the Fiscal Year 2027 (October 2026–September 2027) budget development process, discuss key priorities and financial considerations, and gather input from elected officials and the public before the budget is finalized.

WHEN
June 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

WHERE
Ketchum City Hall

The workshop is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend, learn more about how City resources are allocated, and share feedback with the City Council.

WHY IT MATTERS
The Fiscal Year 2027 budget (October 1, 2026–September 30, 2027) serves as the City's financial roadmap, guiding investments in public services, infrastructure, operations, and community programs. The Budget Workshop provides an opportunity for transparency, discussion, and public engagement early in the budgeting process.

Topics may include:

  • Current fiscal conditions and revenue projections.
  • Proposed funding priorities and service levels for Fiscal Year 2027.
  • Capital improvement projects and infrastructure investments planned for the coming fiscal year.
  • Departmental budget requests and operational needs.
  • Opportunities for public input before budget adoption.

The City Council will take public comment during the workshop, providing residents and stakeholders an opportunity to share feedback, ask questions, and help inform budget priorities before the Fiscal Year 2027 budget is finalized. Details, including a meeting agenda and supporting materials, will be published at ketchumidaho.org/calendar the week of June 8.
