2nd Avenue Street Maintenance Scheduled April 29–May 1; Parking Impacts Expected

The City of Ketchum Streets Department will conduct chip seal preparation and crack sealing on 2nd Avenue, between Sun Valley Road and 6th Street, next week as part of routine street maintenance. One lane in each direction will remain open on 2nd Ave at all times. This work helps preserve roadway surfaces and extend the life of City streets. 

WHEN: Wednesday, April 29–Friday, May 1 (weather dependent), 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM 

WHERE: 2nd Avenue (6th Street to Sun Valley Road) 
 
IMPACTS: 
 
Parking near the Ketchum Post Office and City Hall will be limited during work hours. 
 
Crews will temporarily close select parking spaces on either side of the street and shift travel lanes as work progresses, resulting in rolling parking closures. 
 
Parking availability will change throughout the morning—please watch for posted signs and crew direction. 
 
Drivers should expect minor delays and use caution in the work zone.
