3,000 Masks Donated to City

KETCHUM, Idaho – Ketchum resident, Kathleen Phelan Britt, generously donated $10,000 to purchase face coverings for the citizens of Ketchum. Davis Embroidery and the City of Ketchum coordinated the effort and contributed to the cost.

The masks are available to the public, free of charge, and can be picked up at Ketchum City Hall and The Community Library.

“We are thankful for this donation,” said Mayor Neil Bradshaw. “This gesture reflects Kathleen’s concern for visitors, the citizens of Ketchum, and our frontline and service industry workers.”

Ketchum’s health order, effective on July 7, requires masks to be worn indoors in public places, and outside in public places when safe distancing cannot be observed.

The masks provide the basic need to adhere to the order.
