The City of Ketchum is pleased to announce details for the 68th annual Wagon Days events. Held since 1958, Wagon Days has become a cherished tradition that brings community members and visitors alike together over Labor Day weekend to enjoy activities that celebrate Ketchum’s history and mining heritage. Events are fun for the whole family and include a variety of food and beverage vendors, live performances and cultural presentations, and historic displays. The highlight of the weekend is the Big Hitch Parade on Saturday, Aug. 30. One of the largest non-motorized parades in the West, this procession through Downtown Ketchum showcases an impressive array of vintage horsedrawn buggies, carriages, and stagecoaches and culminates with the historic Lewis Ore Wagons, pulled by a hitch of twenty Shire draft horses.
"Wagon Days takes us back in time to recognize the challenges of the past and the journey that got us here, and it reminds us of our responsibility to be good stewards of our town for the generations to come."
- Neil Bradshaw, Mayor of Ketchum
