Overview
The Ketchum Events Commission was created by Resolution of the City Council in 2012 with the objective of supporting and conducting events which celebrate the spirit, character, history and heroes of the City of Ketchum.

Purpose
The purpose of the commission is to:
- To support and conduct entertainment and events which celebrate the spirit, character, history, and heroes of the City of Ketchum.
- Develop programs and events within the City that will support the City and its businesses.
- Provide events that bring Ketchum and the surrounding communities together.
- Facilitate communication between events producers, organizers and facilitators by ensuring that communication modalities exist.
- Identifying potential and necessary resources and ensuring that events are conducted in a way that is safe and environmentally sustainable.
- Support and assist the Events & Park Reservations Coordinator.
